Job summary

EBSCO Information Services seeks a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate and compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and procurement requests for the FOLIO Library Services Platform and related SaaS solutions.

This role blends library knowledge, research, and project management to translate complex requirements into customer-ready proposals and to collaborate across Sales, Product Management, Implementation, and Legal teams.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in sales or communications.
2+ years of writing, research, or proposal development.
Experience coordinating multiple projects with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop highly accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and similar procurement documents.
Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, and SME input.
Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, and related EBSCO solutions for complete responses.
Coordinate proposal projects from initial review through submission with timelines and assignments.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Legal, and other SMEs to address complex requirements.
Translate technical product information into clear language focused on customer needs and outcomes.
Maintain and update the RFP content repository as products evolve.
Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
