Job summary

EBSCO Information Services (EIS) is seeking a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate, compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other procurement requests for the FOLIO Library Services Platform and related SaaS solutions.

You will translate complex library requirements into clear, customer-focused proposals while coordinating with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Legal, and other subject matter experts to deliver high-quality, compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or corporate communications experience.
• 2+ years in writing, research, or proposal development.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, proposals, clarifications, and other procurement documents for FOLIO and related EBSCO SaaS solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps and SME input.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, and implementation approaches to create complete responses.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review through submission, including requirements analysis, assignments, timelines, and final quality review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal, and other SMEs to address complex requirements.
• Translate technical product information into clear language focused on customer needs and outcomes.
• Maintain reusable FOLIO content in the RFP repository and update as products evolve.
• Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
