Job summary

EBSCO Information Services in the United States seeks a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate, compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for the FOLIO Library Services Platform and related SaaS solutions. You will translate complex library requirements into clear proposals while coordinating cross-functional input.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Legal, Information Security, and other SMEs to ensure quality, compliance, and timely submissions,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a sales or corporate environment with a proven record of communications and/or writing experience.
• 2+ years of professional writing, research, project coordination, or proposal development experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects or deadlines across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, proposals, and related documents for FOLIO and related SaaS solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, and SME input.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, and implementation approaches to craft complete proposal responses.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review through submission, including timelines and final quality review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal, and other SMEs to address complex requirements.
• Translate technical product information into clear language focused on customer needs and outcomes.
• Maintain a reusable content repository for evolving products.
