Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate, compelling responses to RFPs and related requests for their FOLIO Library Services Platform and SaaS solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and SMEs to translate library requirements into clear proposals.

The role requires strong writing, research, and project coordination skills, with experience in library workflows and systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales or comparable corporate environment with proven communications/writing.
• 2+ years of professional writing, research, project coordination, or proposal development.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects or deadlines with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, proposals, clarifications for FOLIO and related EBSCO SaaS solutions.
• Analyze requirements to identify response needs, gaps, questions, and SME input.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, implementations to craft complete responses.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review to submission, including timelines and quality review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal, and SMEs on requirements.
• Translate technical product information into clear customer-focused language.
• Maintain reusable FOLIO/library content in repository, updating responses as products evolve.
• Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, completeness, compliance, grammar.
