Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Business Intake Liaison to manage the firm’s intake process for new work, ensuring accuracy and cross-functional collaboration across teams. The role emphasizes data quality, timely processing, and delivering excellent client service.

The position may be filled remotely or at any firm location, requiring strong communication, organization, and knowledge of legal terminology. Candidates should have 3–5 years in a legal or professional services setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a legal or customer service environment is required, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and EMS required.
• Excellent client and customer service skills.
• Ability to assess the accuracy of data associated with matters and make sound judgments and decisions.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and processes required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent research, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Own intake data collection to open matters in firm systems.
• Move matters to Open for Billing with defined secondary information.
• Evaluate data from other areas before updating firm systems.
• Research and resolve inaccuracies to completion.
• Manage the business intake process and follow up on outstanding items.
• Maintain up-to-date business records in the firm’s database.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and potential clients.
• Coordinate with conflicts, information governance, docketing, and billing to improve the intake experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
