Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Business Intake Liaison to oversee the intake of new work, gather required information, and ensure data accuracy before entry into firm systems. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and delivering excellent client service.

The position may be filled remotely or at any firm location, with prior 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong MS Office proficiency. A high school diploma is required; a 2-year degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a legal or customer service environment is required, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and EMS required.
• Excellent client and customer service skills.
• Ability to assess the accuracy of data associated with matters and make sound judgments and decisions.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and processes required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Ownership of attorney requests for business to be opened in the firm systems, including moving a matter to Open for Time and Open for Billing status.
• Evaluate data provided by other functional areas for accuracy before updating firm systems.
• Research and resolve reports of inaccurate data to completion.
• Own issues in downstream functional areas due to incorrect data and resolve them.
• Manage the business intake process, tracking and following up on outstanding items until resolved.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date business records in the firm’s database.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and potential clients.
• Stay informed about cross-functional areas and build relationships to strengthen intake experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
