Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Business Intake Liaison to manage the intake of new work and ensure data accuracy across firm systems. You will interview attorneys, collect required information, and drive the process to completion.

You will collaborate with conflicts, information governance, docketing, and billing teams while delivering excellent client service. This role may be remote or in any firm location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a legal or customer service environment is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and EMS required.
• Excellent client and customer service skills.
• Ability to assess the accuracy of data associated with matters and make sound judgments.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and processes required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent research, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own attorney requests for business to be opened in the firm systems and gather required intake information.
• Evaluate data provided by other functional areas for accuracy before updating firm systems.
• Research and resolve reports of inaccurate data to completion.
• Manage the business intake process and follow up on outstanding items until resolved.
• Maintain accurate business records in the firm’s database.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and potential clients.
• Stay aware of cross-functional areas and build relationships to enhance intake experience.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
