Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager - Lease to provide day-to-day oversight of fixed asset and leasing accounting, leading the staff, and delivering accurate financial services across divisions.

The role includes month/quarter end close for leases, journal entries and reconciliations (Blackline), CoStar data handling, lease classifications, extensions and terminations, and driving internal controls and process improvements. Remote work is offered nationwide with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of finance and/or accounting experience.
• 1 year or more experience leading projects, process improvements, or people.
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communications; able to interact with diverse audiences.
• GAAP knowledge and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to staff to ensure timely delivery of financial information.
• Oversee month and quarter end close processes for leases.
• Manage lease entries, reconciliations (Blackline) and rollforwards.
• Coordinate data exports from CoStar for journal entries and SOX tie-out.
• Oversee monthly fleet funding and lease payment reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly rollforwards and schedules for the Analytical Deck.
• Assist with lease classifications, loading into CoStar and workflow reviews.
• Oversee lease extensions/terminations and maintenance in CoStar.
• Ensure internal control procedures are followed and perform financial analysis.
