Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager - Lease to oversee the fixed asset and leasing accounting team. You will drive month-end close, journal entries in CoStar and Blackline, and ensure accurate financial reporting across divisions.

The role emphasizes internal controls, process improvements, and leadership of Senior Accountants and Staff Accountants. Remote work is available nationwide, with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related analytical field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years finance/accounting experience; leadership or project experience preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• GAAP/SOX knowledge and experience with internal controls.
• Experience in a shared services or food distribution environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the fixed asset and leasing accounting staff.
• Oversee month/quarter end close for leases and related entries.
• Review lease classifications, loading into CoStar, and workflow processes.
• Manage lease terminations/extensions and CoStar data maintenance.
• Ensure accuracy of financial reporting, controls, and SOX compliance.
• Support ad hoc analyses and cross-functional collaboration.
