Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager - Lease to oversee fixed asset and leasing accounting, lead the accounting staff, and deliver accurate financial services across divisions.

The role emphasizes implementing process improvements, internal controls and timely close with a focus on lease accounting, NAS and SOX compliance. Remote work is available nationwide with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in finance/accounting.
• Experience leading projects or teams preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to staff to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Oversee month and quarter end close for leases and related entries.
• Coordinate lease classifications and load into CoStar; manage lease extensions/terminations.
• Oversee technical accounting transactions and SOX control compliance.
• Conduct financial analysis and resolve balance sheet issues.
• Travel minimal.
