Job summary
US Foods, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager - Lease to oversee fixed asset and leasing accounting, manage staff, and deliver accurate financial services across divisions. You will drive KPIs, implement controls, and lead lease classifications, entries, and disclosures.
This remote role supports operations nationwide with minimal travel. You will supervise Senior Accountants and Staff Accountants, partner with regional finance, audit, and corporate accounting, and guide process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in finance/accounting
- At least 1 year leading projects or people
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work cross-functionally in multiple locations
- Experience with lease accounting and financial reporting
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to staff to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- Oversee month and quarter end close for leases
- Prepare monthly lease entries, reconciliations, and rollforwards
- Export from CoStar for journal entries and SOX ties
- Oversee lease classifications and loading into CoStar
- Manage lease extensions/terminations and maintenance in CoStar
- Perform control tests to ensure internal control compliance
- Conduct financial analyses to identify issues
- Support annual lease footnote disclosures
- Travel minimal
