Job summary

School Specialty is seeking a Learning Environment Specialist to partner with inside and outside sales teams, promoting a comprehensive range of products from furniture to educational technology and safety solutions. The LES will assess customer needs, present proper solutions, and drive sales growth while strengthening customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years outside sales experience in furniture/equipment/education tech in the K-12 market preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in furniture and equipment project management/sales or related field.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurance; able to drive.

Responsibilities

• Understand education market trends to promote our value proposition and manage sales opportunities from identification through post-sale support.
• Establish and build relationships with local school districts to develop key account strategies for growth and to execute sales plans.
• Collaborate within School Specialty’s team-sell model to achieve sales objectives across the company’s value proposition.
• Maximize use of OneForce/Salesforce and related tools to focus on opportunities and update sales stages.
