School Specialty seeks a Learning Environment Specialist to partner with inside and outside sales, representing a full range of products from furniture to educational technology and safety solutions. You will assess customer needs, present tailored environment solutions, and drive sales growth while strengthening customer relationships within a team-selling framework.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• CRM experience, e.g., Salesforce.com.
• Sales process and territory management skills.
• Furniture and equipment product knowledge.
• Ability to build networks including social media.

Responsibilities

• Understand education market dynamics to promote School Specialty’s value proposition and drive sales growth.
• Build relationships with school districts to execute growth strategies and sales plans.
• Collaborate within the team sell model to achieve company objectives across product offerings.
• Utilize tools (Stratum & OneForce) and Salesforce to focus on opportunities and territory planning.
• Manage travel and entertainment budgets and other related expenses to align with corporate strategy.
• Complete ongoing proficiency and professional development training.
