Job summary

Meteor Education is seeking a Learning Environment Specialist to drive revenue in Houston-area districts. You will develop account plans, prospect new schools, and close deals while maintaining strong client relationships through cross-functional teams.

Travel up to 3+ days per week, deliver demonstrations, and support renewal activities to sustain growth in a dynamic educational technology environment.

Qualifications

• Consultative selling approach focusing on budget, authority, need and timing.
• Self-starter able to work autonomously.
• At least 3 years field sales experience; K-12 education market a plus.
• Proven ability to prospect and close B2B deals ranging from $5,000 to $50,000+.
• Ability to manage a large sales pipeline and travel 3+ days/week.

Responsibilities

• Develop account strategies and territory plans to maximize revenue.
• Prospect new accounts and drive business development opportunities.
• Secure new customers with field calls and repeat orders, manage schedules.
• Own customer relationships before, during and after the sale; renewals included.
• Conduct product demonstrations and sales reporting; participate in trade shows.
