Job summary

Meteor Education is seeking a Learning Environment Specialist to expand our client base and drive revenue across assigned accounts. This remote role requires living in or around Portland, OR, or Seattle, WA, with travel 3+ days per week to client sites and events.

You will develop account strategies, build long-term relationships, and present Meteor solutions to education buyers, leveraging cross-functional teams for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Consultative selling style focusing on budget, authority, need and timing.
• Self-starter with ability to work autonomously.
• At least 3 years field sales experience with demonstrable results, K-12 market a plus.
• Able to prospect for new business and manage a large pipeline.
• Strong prospecting, territory management, time management, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
• Experience closing B2B deals from $5,000 to $50,000+.
• Strategic thinking, attention to detail and excellent communication.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pass criminal background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop account strategies and territory planning to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prospect for new accounts and business development opportunities.
• Secure new customers by field presence and efficient time management.
• Increase sales revenue to meet target margin through business development.
• Own customer relationships before, during and after the sale.
• Travel 3+ days per week and present product demonstrations to potential clients.
• Coordinate with support teams to ensure high client satisfaction.
