Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Manager of Model Risk and Governance, a remote, US-based role. You will lead a team of data scientists and governance professionals, set the long-term strategy, and own governance documentation, validation, and model inventory.

You will work with customers and regulators, steer the function’s roadmap, and mentor the team while staying hands-on when needed. Must have 8+ years in risk governance and 4+ years of people management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, validation, governance, or quantitative risk.
• 4+ years of people management building/ scaling governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory landscape.
• Strong reading of models, SQL proficiency, and Python familiarity.
• Bias for action balancing governance rigor with speed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals.
• Own governance strategy, documentation, validation, and model inventory.
• Set the function’s road map and decide what to automate or standardize.
• Manage relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Lead customer-facing discussions with banks and fintechs to advance adoption.
