Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Manager of Model Risk and Governance to lead a 3+ person team of data scientists and governance professionals. You will define the long‑term strategy for model governance, own key relationships, and ensure compliance with regulators and auditors across customer engagements.

You will also directly guide incident investigations, prepare validation reports, and drive governance maturity while remaining hands-on when needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, model validation, governance, or quantitative risk
• 4+ years of people management experience
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory landscape
• Able to read models, interrogate methodologies, and discuss with data scientists
• Strong written and verbal communication, translating technical findings clearly
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; legal US work status required

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals
• Set strategy for the governance function and balance demand with audit and regulatory needs
• Own governance-related relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales
• Prepare validation reports and governance docs for leadership, customers, auditors, and regulators
• Track governance findings and manage the team's roadmap and remediation efforts
• Mentor the team and contribute hands-on when required
