Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a strategic, remote, leadership-focused Manager of Technical Sales Specialists to guide a high-performing team serving the Cell & Gene Therapy market. You will translate complex customer challenges into scalable technical solutions, partner with Sales and Product teams, and drive adoption while maintaining rigorous CRM documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years technical sales, applications consulting, or pre-sales experience in a scientific or technical environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing technical sales teams.
• Experience supporting Cell and Gene Therapy customers, applications, or manufacturing workflows.
• Strong CRM and structured sales process documentation experience.
• Willingness to travel >50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Sales Specialists across Cell & Gene Therapy workflows to ensure technical excellence and high-impact engagement throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
• Position Sartorius solutions within manufacturing and process development environments by translating customer challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Partner with Commercial, Product Management, and Business Unit stakeholders to identify market trends and drive technical strategies.
• Coordinate priorities, support skill development, and ensure high-quality technical engagement.
• Ensure timely technical validation work to improve conversion rates and customer fit across the region.
• Contribute to early-stage opportunity creation with structured qualification and engagement within defined coverage boundaries.
