Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a strategic, results-driven Manager of Technical Sales Specialists to lead a remote team supporting customers across Cell & Gene Therapy workflows. You will guide technical engagement, accelerate opportunity progression, and partner with Sales to overcome challenges and drive portfolio adoption.

The role requires strong leadership, clinical/biotech insight, and willingness to travel >50% to support external customers across the Northeast/US regions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years technical sales, applications consulting, or pre-sales experience in a scientific or technical environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing technical sales or scientific teams.
• Experience supporting Cell and Gene Therapy customers, applications, or manufacturing workflows.
• Strong CRM usage and structured sales process experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Sales Specialists for Cell & Gene Therapy workflows.
• Translate customer challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Product Management, and Business Unit stakeholders on market trends.
• Ensure high-quality technical validation and timely customer engagement.
• Coordinate CRM documentation for pipeline hygiene and forecasting.
• Support structured qualification and early stage opportunity creation.
• Provide accurate technical inputs for contracts in coordination with Central Sales and Legal.
