Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager of Technical Sales Specialists to lead a high-performing team supporting customers across the Cell & Gene Therapy market. This remote, customer-facing role partners with Sales to accelerate opportunity progression and drive adoption of Sartorius' portfolio.

You will empower your team with coaching, rigorous technical engagement, and CRM-driven discipline to ensure win-rate growth and meaningful pipeline in the Northeast US.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in technical sales, applications consulting, or pre‑sales in a scientific or technical environment.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing technical sales teams.
• Experience supporting Cell and Gene Therapy customers and manufacturing workflows.
• Proven hunter and influencer with strong technical depth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Sales Specialists across Cell & Gene Therapy.
• Translate customer challenges into scalable technical solutions to accelerate adoption.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Product Management, and BU to identify market trends.
• Ensure high‑quality technical engagement and CRM-documented activities.
• Contribute to early-stage opportunity creation with structured qualification.
• Safeguard technical clarity in contracts while aligning with Central Sales.
