Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a strategic Manager of Technical Sales Specialists to lead a high-performing team supporting customers across the Cell & Gene Therapy market. This remote, customer-facing leadership role partners closely with Sales to accelerate opportunity progression and drive adoption of Sartorius' portfolio.

You will recruit, coach and develop technical sales talent, ensure rigorous CRM documentation, and align technical strategies with commercial goals while travel is >50%

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years technical sales, applications consulting, or pre-sales experience in a scientific or technical environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing technical sales teams.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Cell and Gene Therapy customers and manufacturing workflows.
• Strong CRM proficiency and structured sales process experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Sales Specialists across Cell & Gene Therapy workflows, ensuring technical excellence and high-impact customer engagement.
• Position Sartorius solutions by translating customer challenges into scalable technical solutions that accelerate adoption and strengthen commercial success.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Product Management, and Business Units to identify market trends and drive technical strategies for growth.
• Ensure structured qualification, timely technical engagement, and alignment with Central Sales for early-stage opportunity creation.
• Maintain rigorous CRM documentation of activities, progress, and customer interactions to enable pipeline accuracy.
