Sartorius is seeking a strategic Manager of Technical Sales Specialists to lead a remote, customer‑facing team across the Cell & Gene Therapy market. You will guide technical engagement, drive opportunity progression, and partner with Sales, Product Management and BU stakeholders to craft scalable solutions that accelerate adoption and strengthen commercial success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years technical sales, applications consulting, or pre‑sales experience in a scientific or technical environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high‑performing technical sales teams in Cell & Gene Therapy or related fields.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales processes with documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Sales Specialists supporting customers across Cell & Gene Therapy workflows.
• Translate complex customer challenges into scalable technical solutions to accelerate adoption and commercial success.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Product Management and Business Unit stakeholders to identify market trends and competitive dynamics.
• Oversee structured qualification, timely technical engagement, and adherence to coverage boundaries with Central Sales to drive early-stage opportunity creation.
• Capture customer needs, workflow patterns and competitive signals; share feedback with Product Management.
