Ladders is seeking a Lead Substation Engineer to guide substation design efforts across physical and protection & control projects for utility and municipal customers. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of substation design experience.
• Excellent communication skills for internal team and client interactions.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

• Self-starter with minimal direction required.

Responsibilities

• Execute substation physical and/or protection & control projects.
• Perform quality control checks on design projects.
• Create and review substation design drawings, including one-line and three-line drawings.
• Compile bill of materials for substation projects.
• Provide project lifecycle support from scoping to final design and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Safety Code in design processes.
• Attend site visits and collaborate with the design team in the local office.
