Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 8+ years of substation design experience
• Excellent communication to interact with internal teams and clients

Responsibilities

• Execute substation physical and/or P&C design projects
• Read and design substation drawings (one-line, three-line, schematics)
• Create and check bill of materials for substation designs
• Perform quality control checks on designs
• Provide full lifecycle support from scoping to final design and implementation
• Apply the National Electrical Safety Code requirements to design processes
• Collaborate with client standards and designers
• Occasionally attend site visits and collaborate with the team
