Job summary

Lumen's Network as a Service (NaaS) platform delivers on-demand networking at scale. As Lead SRE, you'll own the reliability of that platform — partnering with teams to drive direction and resolve systemic issues across networks and apps.

You'll work on observability, incident management, and automation, using AI-assisted tooling to accelerate deployment and incident investigations, while mentoring engineers and shaping resilient architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 8+ years in software development, systems engineering, and/or networking.
• Hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and observability for the NaaS platform and drive improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response for outages.
• Automate deployments and cloud infrastructure using IaC tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Maintain clear documentation for processes and architecture.
