Oscar Health, Inc. is hiring a Lead Physician for its Virtual Health Assessment team. The role oversees a multidisciplinary group delivering care via telemedicine and reports to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

The position is remote with a Monday–Friday schedule, some late shifts, and quarterly weekend coverage. Base pay range is $237,718–$312,005 per year, plus benefits and annual bonus.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ACGME residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics.
• Active license in good standing in at least Florida with eligibility in additional listed states.
• ABMS board certification relevant to residency.
• 5+ years of primary care or urgent care experience.
• Unrestricted license in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC; supervision of NP/PA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality telemedicine care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment.
• Serve as clinical escalation point for care delivery team as needed.
• Contribute to development of clinical guidelines and care model improvements.
• Ensure patient safety culture and accountability for care quality.
• Lead team development and manage performance issues.
