Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician to join our Virtual Health Assessment team. This remote role oversees a group of APPs delivering care to Oscar members in a telehealth environment and reports to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

You will work with physicians, RNs and MAs, ensure high-quality care, develop clinical guidelines, and participate in strategic initiatives. The base pay ranges from $237,718 to $312,005 per year, with benefits including PTO, holidays, 401k match

Qualificações

• Must have active Florida license with good standing.
• Eligible to practice in at least three additional listed states.
• Board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or medicine-pediatrics.
• Experience supervising APPs (NPs and PAs) in telemedicine.
• Minimum 5 years in primary or urgent care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality telemedicine care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise a group of APPs delivering care virtually.
• Serve as clinical escalation point for care delivery.
• Develop clinical guidelines and improve care model.
• Conduct quality audits and ensure patient safety.
• Ensure superior member experience and service recovery.
• Grow and develop your team, manage performance.
• Collaborate with Operations and Product teams.
• Adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
• Report to Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

Conhecimentos

Licensure in multiple states

Supervision of APPs

Telemedicine leadership

Clinical governance

Spanish language ability

Formação

MD or DO from ACGME-accredited medical school

Residency in Internal Medicine / Family Medicine / Medicine-Pediatrics

ABMS Board Certification

Unrestricted license in GA/TX/FL or IMLCC

5+ years primary/urgent care experience
