Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician to join the Virtual Health Assessment team in a remote role. The Lead Physician oversees APPs, NPs, PAs, and RNs delivering care virtually and reports to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

The position offers full-time hours, opportunities to shape care delivery, and travel for team meetings. Board-certified physicians with telemedicine experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, or med-peds.
• Completion of residency and valid medical licensure in required states.
• Experience supervising NP/PA clinicians in a telemedicine setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct high quality, safe patient care via telemedicine with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs delivering care in a virtual environment and guide professional growth.
• Serve as clinical escalation point and contribute to care model improvements.
• Develop clinical guidelines and participate in projects with Operations and Product teams.
• Conduct quality assurance audits and ensure patient safety.
