Oscar Health, Inc. is hiring a Lead Physician to join the Virtual Health Assessment team. The role leads a multidisciplinary virtual care group delivering high-quality care via telemedicine and supervising APPs in a remote setting.

You will report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment. The position offers full-time hours, a Monday–Friday schedule with one late shift and quarterly weekend commitments, and remote work from multiple US states.

Qualifications

• Completion of medical residency program; specialty in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics.
• ABMS Board Certification corresponding to completed residency program or additional training.
• 5+ years of primary care or urgent care experience.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC.
• Must have full practice licensure in good standing in Florida plus at least three of the following states: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas, or Virginia.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct high quality, safe patient care via telemedicine with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise a group of APPs delivering care in a virtual environment and support their professional growth.
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed.
• Contribute to development of clinical guidelines and care model improvements.
• Ensure patient safety and superior member experience; conduct quality assurance audits.
