Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Systems Engineering with deep expertise in Link 22 tactical data links to support airborne and maritime platforms.

You will act as a subject matter expert, translating CONOPS into system requirements and leading design, integration, and testing efforts. The role involves designing data flows, configuring hardware/software components (SNC, SPC, LLC), and ensuring interoperability across platforms while supporting agile engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field and minimum 9 years of experience (Software Engineer also considered).
• Graduate degree with 7+ years of related experience; or 13+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Link 22 SME with in-depth knowledge of Link 22 systems and configurations.
• Integrate Link 22 for airborne and maritime platforms to ensure interoperability.
• Architect Link 22 data flows across multi-node networks and manage message routing.
• Develop and maintain exportable Link 22 configurations across programs and platforms.
• Design, integrate, and test Link 22 hardware/software (SNC, SPC, LLC) across domains.
• Plan and execute interoperability testing in lab and field environments.
