L3Harris Technologies, Inc. invites a seasoned Lead, Systems Engineering for Link 22 to join a remote role operating within multi-domain environments.

You will guide requirements, architecture, and integration of Link 22 across airborne and maritime platforms, ensuring system interoperability and compliance with standards. The role requires hands-on design and testing expertise, with travel varying from SW development phases to heavy field integration.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology and minimum of 9 years of relevant experience (Software Engineer also considered with relevant experience).
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of core Systems Engineering requirements development, decomposition, traceability, verification, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Link 22 subject matter expert, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Link 22 systems, architecture, message standards, network design, and configuration options.
• Integrate and configure Link 22 for airborne and maritime platforms, ensuring compatibility and effectiveness.
• Architect and design Link 22 data flows across multi-node networks, including function groups, time slot management, and routing.
• Develop and maintain exportable Link 22 configurations for multiple programs and environments.
• Integrate and configure Link 22 hardware/software components (SNC, SPC, LLC) for interoperability.
• Design physical architectures combining Link 22 with Link 16, VMF across security domains.
• Plan and execute Link 22 interoperability testing in labs and multi-national settings.
• Prepare presentations to communicate Link 22 architecture to non-technical audiences.
• Develop test plans and verification scenarios for SW development and integration.
• Work in an agile engineering environment.
