SES Constructors LLC is expanding its civil construction team and seeks a Lead Estimator. The role focuses on self-perform heavy civil cost estimating, reagent planning, and value engineering for diverse projects.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with in-house teams to deliver competitive, accurate bids from multiple sources. Responsibilities include building comprehensive estimates, managing subcontractor quotes, and ensuring milestones align with project schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have field experience in self-perform contracting of civil infrastructure scopes such as earthwork and utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and estimating software.
• Federal project estimating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil projects based on plans, specs, and scopes of work.
• Provide quantity takeoffs and cost assessments for materials and labor.
• Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to meet submission deadlines.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans and alternative options.
