SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator to join our growing civil construction team. You will prepare detailed self-perform cost estimates based on plans, specs, and scopes, using Bid2Win and HCSS tools to drive value and timelines.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in heavy civil estimating, a construction management or civil engineering degree, and a track record of leading collaborative bid efforts with design teams and subcontractors.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Federal project estimating experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, CPM scheduling, and estimating software.

Aufgaben

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crews and rates based on project size and scope.
• Provide accurate quantity takeoff information and cost summaries.
• Identify and vet subcontractor and vendor quotes for best-value bids.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Submit inquiries to clients regarding drawings and scopes of work.
• Collaborate with field and office teams on each estimate.
• Meet milestone reviews and recalibrate for timely submissions.
• Support constructability reviews and explore alternate approaches.
• Obtain subcontractor pricing to ensure full coverage of scope.
• Coordinate with operations post-award for alternate approaches and site conditions.
