Zusammenfassung

SES Constructors LLC is expanding its workforce and seeking a Lead Estimator for our Civil Construction Business Line. The ideal candidate will prepare detailed estimates based on plans, specs, and scopes of work, with strong self-perform heavy civil experience.

Remote position requiring EST or CST availability; some travel may be required. Must read contract documents, manage takeoffs, source subs, and collaborate with field/office teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Experience estimating federal projects is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, and schedules.

Aufgaben

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates.
• Furnish accurate quantity takeoff information for total construction costs.
• Identify, source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify and mitigate risks and develop action plans.
• Collaborate with in‑house field and office professionals on estimates.
• Meet interim milestones for constructability and productivity reviews to meet deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and obtain subcontractor pricing as needed.
• Interact with Operations post-award for alternates and site condition discussions.
