Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is expanding its civil construction team and seeking a Lead Estimator to join our remote-capable operations. The role focuses on heavy civil cost estimates based on plans and scopes, with emphasis on self-perform project experience and value engineering.

You will coordinate with field and office teams, perform quantity takeoffs, source subcontractor quotes, analyze risks, and meet submission deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM or Civil Eng is required.
• Minimum 10 years estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience reading contract docs, drawings and specs, and leading pursuits.
• Proficiency with Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid software.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project scope.
• Furnish quantity takeoffs and detailed material lists.
• Source subcontractor quotes and evaluate best-value partnerships.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for estimates.
• Coordinate with field and office teams to meet submission deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and alternate approaches as needed.
