SES Constructors LLC is expanding its workforce and seeks a Lead Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for civil construction projects based on plans, specs, and scopes of work. The role requires self-perform cost estimation expertise and collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate bid packages.

The position is remote, with EST or CST alignment and occasional travel. A strong background in heavy civil, earthwork, utilities, and road projects is preferred, along with proficiency in

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• The successful candidate will read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and estimating software such as Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid is favored.

Responsabilités

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates based on project size and scope.
• Furnish accurate quantity takeoff information for detailed material cost lists.
• Engage subcontractor and vendor quotes to determine best-value partnerships.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with the project team.
• Collaborate with field and office professionals to prepare each estimate.
• Meet milestones for constructability and productivity reviews to meet submission deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and vet subcontractor pricing to cover scope.
• Interact with operations post-award to address alternates, options, and site conditions.
