SES Constructors LLC seeks a Lead Estimator to join our civil construction team, focusing on detailed estimates from plans, specs, and scopes of work, with emphasis on accuracy and value.

You will collaborate with field and office professionals, source subcontractor quotes, perform quantity takeoffs, assess risks, and ensure timely submissions. This remote role requires familiarity with EST or CST and possible travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Experience estimating federal projects is preferred.
• Must read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Experience with estimating software such as Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid.

Responsabilités

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates based on project size and scope.
• Furnish accurate quantity takeoff information for materials and total costs.
• Identify, source and analyze subcontractor quotes for best value partnerships.
• Identify and address risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with field and office professionals in preparation of each estimate.
• Meet interim milestones for constructability and productivity reviews to ensure on-time submissions.
• Obtain and vet subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure comprehensive scope coverage.
• Interact with Operations and project teams after award for site conditions and alternates.
