SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator for its Civil Construction business line. This remote role requires EST or CST availability and potential travel.

You will prepare detailed estimates from plans and specs, manage takeoffs, source subcontractor quotes, and analyze risks to ensure competitive bids. The ideal candidate has field self-perform contracting experience across earthwork, utilities, road and dam work, with familiarity in federal project estimation and CPM scheduling.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Field experience in self-perform contracting of civil infrastructure scopes including earthwork, utilities, dewatering, roads, dam/levee, pavement.
• Experience estimating federal projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules; proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, CPM scheduling, and estimating software such as Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid.
• If applicable, obtain clearance levels for access to military installations.

Responsabilidades

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and assess total construction costs.
• Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with field and office teams during estimation.
• Meet milestone reviews to ensure timely submission and calibration.
