Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is expanding its workforce and seeks a Lead Estimator for our Civil Construction business line. You will prepare detailed estimates from plans, specs, and scopes of work, while collaborating with field and office teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Experience in self-perform contracting of civil infrastructure scopes.
• Ability to read contracts, drawings, and schedules; proficient with common estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates for large projects.
• Create quantity takeoffs and detailed material lists with costs.
• Source and analyze subcontractor/vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with the project team.
• Coordinate with field and office staff to prepare estimates.
• Meet milestones and support constructability reviews and bid days.
• Engage with operations post-award for alternates and site conditions.
