Job summary

Zoom is seeking a lead Solutions Engineer in the Richmond area to serve as the technical advocate for enterprise customers. You will partner with Strategic Accounts to architect multi-product solutions across Meetings, Phone, Contact Center, Rooms, and AI-powered offerings.

This high-visibility role requires a broad UCaaS background, hands-on API integrations, and the ability to translate customer needs into product recommendations, while driving deal cycles and ensuring customer happiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solutions engineering for enterprise-level customers in technical pre-sales.
• Deep knowledge across the full UCaaS stack (SaaS collaboration, cloud voice, contact center, video, UC).
• Hands-on with API integrations, networking, security best practices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Genuine passion for AI with real use cases and measurable impact.
• Strong business acumen and executive presence; able to engage AEs and executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Strategic Accounts AE to drive technical sales across the full Zoom platform.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, demos, and proofs of concept (POCs) for complex enterprise needs.
• Translate customer requirements into product recommendations and push feature requests internally.
• Articulate Zoom's architectural advantages and AI use cases to stakeholders.
• Gather market intel to refine sales strategies and inform internal roadmaps.
• Collaborate with AEs, product managers, and specialists to manage RFPs/RFQs and unblock deals.
