Progressive Leasing seeks a Lead Engineer for Mobile & Full‑Stack to drive cross‑platform development across React Native and ReactJS, mentoring a distributed team. You will own the feature lifecycle from concept to release, champion AI‑first practices, and raise the bar on quality and performance.

You will shape architecture, enforce standards, and coordinate with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver scalable lease‑to‑own solutions in a remote work setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, with mobile and full‑stack focus.
• Deep expertise in React Native, ReactJS, TS/JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Full‑stack capability: owning or collaborating on BFF/API layers.
• Experience shipping production apps to AppStore and Google Play.
• Experience leading distributed contractor teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, quality, and delivery of mobile and web surfaces across iOS, Android, and web.
• Develop and enforce coding standards and best practices across mobile and full‑stack.
• Drive AI‑first approach and integration of LLM tools.
• Shape technical roadmap decisions aligned with product goals.
• Lead code reviews and root‑cause analysis of production issues.
• Mentor geographically distributed engineering teams across time zones.
