Job summary

Progressive Leasing seeks a Lead Engineer - Mobile & Full-Stack to own architecture and delivery of our React Native mobile app and React JS web surfaces across iOS and Android. You will establish coding standards, drive an AI-first mindset, and guide a distributed team through end-to-end feature delivery.

Expect leadership in code reviews, root-cause analysis, and production support while collaborating with product, design, QA, and backend teams to ship high-quality, scalable solutions remotely

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years mobile (React Native) and full-stack work.
• Deep expertise in React Native, React JS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Experience leading distributed contractor-heavy teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, quality, and delivery of the React Native mobile app and React JS web surfaces across iOS and Android.
• Define coding standards, patterns, and best practices across mobile and full-stack development.
• Drive AI-first engineering mindset and align technical roadmaps with product goals.
• Lead code reviews, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Deliver end-to-end features from scope to App Store/Play Store release and monitoring.
• Mentor a distributed team and collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend.
