Progressive Leasing, a PROG Holdings subsidiary, is seeking a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack (Remote) to own architecture and delivery of web and API layers. You will guide a distributed team across time zones, drive AI-first strategies, and align tech with product goals.

Remote-friendly role across the continental US with potential office in Draper, Utah. You bring 10+ years in software development, 5+ years in full-stack, and strong OO design, CI/CD, and cross-platform experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in full-stack.
• Experience with AI-first engineering and usage of Claude, Co-Pilot, and similar tools.
• Strong OO design and UI/API architecture skills.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams across time zones.
• Experience with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and open-source tech.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, quality, and delivery of the Angular app and APIs.
• Define coding standards and drive AI-first engineering mindset.
• Lead technical roadmap decisions aligned with product goals.
• Mentor and lead a distributed engineering team across regions.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery from scoping to production monitoring.
• Ensure observability, performance, security, and accessibility.
