Job summary

Progressive Leasing is seeking a Lead Engineer - Mobile & Full-Stack (Remote) to own the architecture and delivery of our React Native mobile app and React JS web surfaces. You will guide best practices, mentor engineers across time zones, and drive AI-enabled features across customer-facing channels (mobile app, web, and webview integrations).

The role requires 10+ years in software, 5+ years mobile (React Native) and full-stack, and strong leadership in cross-functional, remote teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years focused on mobile (React Native) and full-stack development.
• Deep expertise in React Native, React JS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and open-source technologies.
• Experience integrating AI-powered features and tools into consumer products.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, quality, and delivery of the React Native mobile app and React JS web surfaces across iOS/Android.
• Define coding standards and drive best practices across mobile and full-stack teams.
• Lead end-to-end feature delivery from scoping to App Store / Play Store releases and production monitoring.
• Mentor distributed engineers and drive technical roadmap decisions aligned with product goals.
• Ensure performance, security, and accessibility are considered from the start.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Backend teams in an Agile environment.
