ABB in the United States seeks an Application Engineering Manager for Electrification Services (ELSE) to lead the US AE organization in support of Sales and Commercial Operations. You will drive customer-focused technical solutions, ensure high-quality SOWs and JCEs, and build a high-performing engineering team capable of supporting growth.

This remote leadership role requires deep experience in power delivery, proposal development, and cross-functional collaboration across Proposal Management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel 25% within the US.
• 7+ years in application or field engineering in power delivery; relevant industries valued.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams and with proposal processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Application Engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership and customer solution support across the ELSE portfolio.
• Drive proposal excellence with high-quality SOWs and JCEs; improve ITO processes.
• Standardize engineering processes and build training programs.
