Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an Application Engineering Manager for Electrification Services (ELSE) to lead the U.S. AE organization in support of the Commercial Operations and Sales teams, driving customer-focused technical solutions and ensuring high-quality SOWs and JCEs.

This remote position requires building a high-performing team, collaborating with Proposal Management, Business Development, Operations and other ABB engineering teams to standardize solutions and accelerate cycle times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and 12+ years relevant work experience. Preference for Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time within US.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in application engineering or field engineering in power delivery products and systems, including 5 years with customers.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams preferred.
• Experience with proposal development, statement of work creation, job costing, and commercial operations processes.
• Background in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
