Job summary

ABB, a global technology leader, seeks a Contractor Key Account Manager – West to develop and manage strategic relationships with large contractor accounts across the West region. This remote role centers on growing share of wallet and profitability while coordinating executive relationships within key accounts.

Preferred locations include Las Vegas, NV, Phoenix, AZ, Salt Lake City, UT or Denver, CO, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 12 years of experience in the electrical industry including contractors and distributors (CA, Pacific Northwest, Mountain, Chicago).
• Strong understanding of Electrification products and experience with quoting projects for contractors.
• Experience in market analysis and business development plans with a structured approach.
• Technical background with low/medium voltage electrical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the account plan and growth actions.
• Understand business drivers and risks affecting the customer and translate to ABB opportunities.
• Develop sales strategies for the account with current and long‑term plans.
• Define sales targets and monitor market pricing and competitive activity.
