Job summary

ABB is seeking a Contractor Key Account Manager – West to develop and manage strategic relationships with large contractor accounts primarily in the West Region. This remote role supports ABB’s Electrification IBC team in the Western United States, with preference for candidates in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, or Denver areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or related preferred; candidates without a degree but commensurate work experience will be considered.
• At least 12 years of experience in the electrical industry with contractors and distributors across the specified regions.
• Strong understanding of Electrification products and experience quoting projects for contractors.
• Experience in market analysis and business development with a structured approach.
• Technical background with low/medium voltage electrical equipment preferred.
• Willingness to travel; base location in NV, AZ, UT or CO preferred; must have work authorization for the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the account plan and growth actions.
• Understand key business drivers and translate risks and opportunities for ABB.
• Contribute to sales strategies with current and long-term plans for the customer.
• Define sales targets, monitor market pricing, track competitors, and drive response strategies.
