ABB is seeking a Contractor Key Account Manager – West to develop and manage strategy and relationships with large contractor accounts across the West region. The role sits in ABB Industry, Buildings and Channel and requires coordinating executive relationships, growing share of wallet, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Remote position with preferred hubs in Las Vegas, NV, Phoenix, AZ, Salt Lake City, UT or Denver, CO. Travel to cover CA, PNW, Mountain and Chicago areas is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or related preferred.
• Candidates without a degree but commensurate work experience will also be considered.
• 12 years of experience within the electrical industry incl experience with working with contractors and distributors in the California, Pacific Northwest, Mountain and Chicago area is a requirement.
• Strong understanding of the Electrification products and experience with quoting projects for contractors.
• Experience in conducting market analysis and business development plans with solid structured approach.
• Technical background with experience with low/medium voltage electrical equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel. Preferred base location would be in Nevada, Arizona, Utah or Colorado area.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.

• Develop sales strategies for the account with current and long-term plans.
• Define sales targets, monitor market price developments and competitors’ activity for the account.
