Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; education in science or business a plus.
• 10+ years pharma industry experience in related, diverse function/roles.
• Clinical experience selling specialty/rare disease products in a large geography across multiple states.
• Expansive local relationships, access, and market knowledge.
• Proven track record of delivering top sales performance that meet or exceed objectives.
• Excellent virtual/remote selling and customer engagement skills and strong written/verbal communication.
• Expansive account management skills and collaboration across teams.
• Demonstrated highest ethical standards and ability to work across teams proactively.

Responsibilities

• Create awareness around rare disease states and company marketed products.
• Strategic account management—translate strategy into action.
• Plan and execute territory business across multiple states.
• Manage leads with timely follow-up and maintain CRM records.
• Meet or exceed sales forecasts and revenue goals.
• Guide healthcare providers through prescribing processes and support services.
• Collaborate with marketing, leadership, and other partners to address local market needs.
• Execute local marketing initiatives including speaker programs and conferences.
• Adhere to compliance guidelines and complete trainings on time.
• Submit call activity in CRM (Veeva) and manage expense reports (Concur).
• Travel up to 60% within territory and to regional/national meetings.
